We would like to kindly invite you to participate in an international survey where all responders are offered the opportunity to be listed as collaborators (PubMed citable).
Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) is becoming the gold standard for abdominopelvic procedures. The head-down tilt lithotomy (HDTL) position is more commonly used during abdominopelvic MIS. Prolonged HDTL has been associated with adverse events such as well-leg compartment syndrome (WLCS), which potentially increases perioperative morbidity.
We would like to invite you to this international survey to assess global real-world HDTL practices and evaluate the prevalence and management strategies for WLCS. This survey is part of a broader research project seeking to inform expert-driven evidence-based guidance to improve patient safety when HDTL is employed during abdominopelvic MIS. The survey will take about 5 minutes to complete.
