LAPAROSCOPIC COLORECTAL SURGERY PRECEPTORSHIP PROGRAMME
“The National Preceptorship Programme in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery”
The Preceptorship Programme was set up in 2004 under the auspices of the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons of Great Britain & Ireland and the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain & Ireland. It has run since that time and has delivered teaching to more than 100 surgeons throughout the United Kingdom. It has now been replaced by the National Training Programme, which will be available to consultant surgeons within England. Those living in Ireland, Scotland and Wales are still eligible to be preceptored, please contact Jenny Treglohan jtreglohan@alsgbi.org for a list of preceptors.
